    A thought …

If Musharaf was such a “dictator” as most people are trying to potray him; BB would still be in house arrest, and things would look like Burma!

I don’t know why suddenly people have an obsession with constitution. We need business to flourish and making a political battle a street battle is as insane as it gets. I also don’t think BB cares about the growing businesses in Pakistan as she’s already made million, no BILLIONS, from her first term.

As far as Mr. Judge is concerned, I doubt he has the slightest idea about foreign affairs (”extremists have to be released because there was no hard evidence against them”, oh well, people who we had evidence against, they already blew themselves up!).

I see Econ teachers from LUMS protesting … I am sure they know the implications of their protests on ECONOMICS and what overall difference it will make to the politics of Pakistan. In the best case scenario (for them) if Mush quits leaves his seat to our great politicians then we have following options:

    1. Mullahs (MMA and like who can’t seem to decide anything amongst themselves)
    2. Politicians (PPP and PML).

I hope people get some sense and see what they are trying to achieve so madly and so blindly and what harm that’s doing to our economy and businesses! Musharaf is not our enemy, WE are our enemies ourselves.

    My two cents…

I would say the question is freedom or suppression? Now for those want freedom, there is definitely a cost associated with it. You are thinking in the short term, talking about just now, we have to think long term what’s best for the country and not now.

In the long run we would be much better off with strong judiciary, elected government and true democracy.
