PAKISTAN Bar Council (PBC) has strongly condemned the solitary confinement of President Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Aitzaz Ahsan at Adial jail and removal of Munir A Malik, former President SCBA, to Attock jail where he is being tortured. The bar also strongly condemned the detention of Ali Ahmad Kurd at Sihala Rest House and confinement of Imdad Ali Awan, newly elected Vice President SCBA, at Sukkar jail where he is not being given medicines for blood pressure and diabetes. PBC further condemned the removal of Justice (retd) Tariq Mehmood, former President SCBA, to Sahiwal jail where he is being tortured. The statement, issued by the members of PBC, said: “we deeply appreciate courage, determination and sacrifice of lawyers community and media in this epic struggle for the rule of law, restoration of Constitution and independence of judiciary. “We urge them to remain steadfast in their resolve, as their names will be written in golden words in the annals of the history of Pakistan,” the PBC further said.

Munir Malik for sure would be under torture for his recent efforts to liberate judciary (btw all those efforts seem to have gone to drain)
