After spending eight years in jail on corruption and drug-smuggling charges, Asif Ali Zardari, 51, now heads a political party that America and Britain wants to stabilise nuclear-armed, volatile Pakistan.
Benazir Bhutto’s son given key role in party
The flamboyantly moustachioed polo aficionado has many attributes that may enable him to survive the negotiating process towards a power-sharing agreement with President Pervez Musharraf.
Mr Zardari, who wed Miss Bhutto in an arranged marriage in 1987, served as investment and environment minister in her governments and understands Pakistan’s political undercurrents.
But despite his survivor’s guile, his reputation may prevent him from bearing office if his party fares well in elections. He said that another party leader, Makhdoom Amin Fahim, would likely be candidate for prime minister if it won.
Within months of Miss Bhutto’s first election victory in 1988, Mr Zardari quickly became known as “Mr 10 Per Cent” due to allegations, which he always denied, that he had siphoned state funds and taken multi-million-dollar kickbacks.
In a recent interview with The Daily Telegraph, Miss Bhutto rejected the claim that her husband was a liability and did not rule out giving him a senior position if she formed a government.
Mr Zardari has strenuously denied the charges against him in Pakistan and has always maintained they were politically motivated. He was never convicted.
After his release from jail in 2004, Mr Zardari spent much time in America away from his wife, saying that he needed to be there for medical treatment. Miss Bhutto denied claims of estrangement. She said that Mr Zardari was the only person who shouldered the responsibilities of office and her family’s tragic legacy with her.
She said of unsubstantiated rumours that Mr Zardari had once dragged her out of a meeting by her hair: “I’m the only member of my family with a happy marriage. Many poisonous rumours have been spread about us.”

Once I met with Mr. Zardari after being aquitted from jail alongwith his friend Dr.??? . I spent almost two hours with him discussing about very simple matters and judging him to deal with his paty fellows with such an encouraging and pleasing way realy impressed me. I was surprised to meet him that all rumours which tarnished his images in my mind were meltted down. What I had my judgment about him is that he will prove to be a brave, far-sighted and grteat visionary leader. His decision to take part in ellection is a first notion of his ability to see future so clear and promising with positive attitude. God bless hi!

I met twice time with Baji in london, i dont have words for Baji because in pakistan ever seen such type of lady in my life. ALLAH giver her better place in heaven. bec she was Well educated, well manner, well sense of humor, and well soft heart person,
I think after her martyr Asif Zardair is right person who can handle the party sensibly. Because he is very brave person and got lot of experiences from Benazir Baji, and he is very soft person and keep soft place in heart for every one and for every party.

WELL , I HAVE NOT MET ASIF ZARDARI PERSONALLY BUT …WILL JUST SAY THAT IF THERE IS SMOKE, THERE IS SURE TO BE FIRE ….
ALL THESE ALLEGATIONS ABOUT KICKBACKS CANNOT BE WISHFULL THINKING OR JUST POLITICALLY MOTIVATED,
HE DID TAKE KICKBACKS AND THIS WAS USED AGAINST HIM POLITICALLY…..

The Momineens, the believers of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) of the world have decided to build gigantic and grandiose city presenting an edifice of humanity and tranquility, peace and love, supplication and consummation for the All-Forgiver and All-Merciful showering upon the people His bounties and blessings since the creation of first man on earth Adam (A.S.) and this Adam (A.S.), the first father of human being was firstly challenged by the Satan mardood that this creature of God shall be spoiling, devastating and rummaging through the planet earth.
But, the Almighty Allah, the All-knower challenged the Satan mardood that he is not that kind of wise as Allah is so shall he be expelled from his court of blessing and forgiveness after having been defeated from the court of Allah. The Satan mardood decided to challenge the human being by making him/her more adaptable towards the bad deeds including the first murder on the planet earth to the developing of mass destruction weapons. So the man, so fragile and subtle becomes the escape-goat of the Satan mardood. Since the first murder of Adam’s son by his own brother and the continuity of the same is still on and on in the shape of making man enemy to man with no fear of God and disturb the whole peace and the tranquility on this planet earth by inventing fighter jets and B-2 bombers, suicide bombers and all other inhuman activities stretching from theft to murder.
Now Almighty Allah/ God has decided to present Himself on planet earth by putting the ground breaking ceremony of the projected city of Qasar-e-Hussain located in Lahore, Pakistan, Earth Planet; which shall be the standing Exaltation of Allah in the form of Imam Hussain (A.S.) preaching place entailing hospitals, colleges, universities, airports, sky-scrappers, motorways, subways, seven star hotels and what not. All presenting the grandiosity, magnanimity and magnificence of Almighty Allah for his poors, dejected, desperate, destitute, forlorn and poverty stricken humans on the earth planet first time in the history of human beings and in this great cause The Design Constructions has joined hands with us to give this grand project a practical shape.
Thus by throwing lights on the certain characteristics and the parameters of the new city on the earth planet shall be the embodiment of Allah’s Greatness and Vanity. Now by putting the pinnacle of Allah on the planet earth shall be the final nail in the coffin of Satan or Devil or Rakshas etc. From onwards no Satan or Devil shall ever be daring to disturb the echo system of God.
Look at the concept, you all shall cooperate with us to build this magnificent piece of Allah’s Architect on the Planet Earth. Undoubtedly Allah is the best Architect in the universe. Now we say that the Satan or Devil is doing his level best to finish this grand project of Allah as soon as possible so all the people, the figure is 5 billion plus, are once again challenged by the Devil, so we request all of the human beings irrespective of their religions, beliefs, sects, tribes, colors, sex and creeds to come forward and marshel together as an army of loveable and adorable people of Earth Planet to give a blowing defeat to the army of the Satan or Devil. This exemplary innihilation of the Satan mardood shall be another living example like Pharaoh, who also challenged God one times through his sky-high pyramids, so this is the Wrath and Exuberance of Almighty Allah on the inhabitants of the Earth Planet.
After having this brief introduction every peace loving human is invited to contribute his/her means of resources of whatever nature for the preservation and restoration of the poverty stricken, socially and economically crippled, highly unsecured, and also in the presence of human bombs, nuclear bombs and heavy armaments of any kind with no fear of Wrath of God. Initially this project is being started with thousands of kanals (1 Marla=25 sq. yards, 1 kanal=20 marlas), and shall be extended to millions of kanals because every thing belongs to Allah including Earth Planet
So if we say this projected grand city is a peaceful shelter/ home for all the peace loving human beings on the Earth Planet shall not be a wrong concept by the representative of Allah. So come on it’s a clarion call to all NGO’s, Governments and all other institutions which are preaching and practicing for the peace and tranquility of this Planet Earth are once again called upon to join hand to hand with this representative of Allah to make this Planet Earth more peaceful and beautiful by harnessing and clogging the Satan or Devil.
Now we let you know the people of earth planet that deweaponization is desatanization, denuclearization is de-devilization, antitheftism is antisatanism, likewise entailing the success of good qualities and failure of all the Satanic/ Devilish characteristics from the Planet Earth, also save from the volleys of terrorism, deglobalization, hunger, poverty, injustice and inequality to make this earth more peaceful and tranquil to live on this planet. So we conclude that the emancipation of all the human beings is based upon the harnessing and catching of the Satan or Devil.

For the perpetuity, susceptibility and maintainability of earth planet and to wash away the long long irreparable and impregnable damages or losses to the planet earth every man living on the earth planet is wishing and desiring very conscientiously that why he has been predestined to the unforeseen worries of suicide bombing, nuclear threats, disrespect to humanity, dishonesty, adulteration, bribery, and what not vices carried out by the Devil, Satan etc., on the earth planet. Shall it be possible for the human being who been very weak and fragile ever be in the position to clear himself alone from the mess of vices spreading around this earth planet. It is not possible individually but commonly possible, then who would dare to lead the army of humans who are desirous of peace and tranquility on this planet earth, definitely, anyone of you can do it. Living on this planet earth it could be the President of America, Mr.George W. Bush, or the President of any country of the world including the President of Pakistan, Mr. Pervaiz Musharraf. Also, any individual living in slum area or any individual living in the skyscraper or living in the most beautiful palace on this earth planet since its creation.
Now you have to decide since you are the master of your destiny either you decide to go with the Army of Humanity and Tranquility i.e Allah, God, Baghwan, Buddha etc. or the army of the gun totters, nuclear mounted launchers or so much so the suicide bombers or violent persons living on this earth planet . Moreover, I have put the ball into your court to get an answer from your conscience of whatsoever nature and; therefore, kindly intimate me through the same mail and the contact numbers given on the website. If answer is yes then fine, and if not then I shall pray to Allah, God, Baghwan, Buddha, etc. to come on this planet earth and assist us. I would rather pray to Allah, God, Baghwan, Buddha, etc. or whatsoever to whom you worship to come down and fight with the Satanic or Devilish forces who are ruling upon the brains of the five billion plus people living on this earth planet and give crushing defeat to the enemies of peace, humanity, and tranquility on this land of destitutes, poors, poverty-stricken subjects, forlorns, etc.
So, this is the challenge I give to all the Evil Forces living on the earth planet to fight with the Powers of Allah, God, etc. and that would subjugate and rope their unbridled horses which are busy in trampling the peace and tranquility of the planet earth. Thus, there is an open announcement of Armageddon between the forces of Allah, God, etc. and the forces of the Satan, Devil etc. The result of this grand some Battle will show whether this representative of Allah is right or wrong.
By the Grace of my All-Mighty Allah, the Army of Allah, God, etc. will give a mind shattering and mind boggling defeat and humiliating retreat to the army of the evil forces led by the Satan, Devil, etc. They will not even get a small space for their refugee on this earth planet, which is made for peace and love. Since every human being is a peace loving and desiring for peace and tranquility including all the governments of the world on this earth planet.

I think that all pakistans has lost it, im a pakistani, and i cant believe how you all have just given the country in the hands of a chor, for god sakes everyone, the guy has been in prison, in jail, how can you give a guy like him a chance, the guy is a hypocrit.

In January 2008, I was confident about the leadership qualities of Mr. Zardari as could be read in my comments. I would like to congratulate him on taking oath as president of Pakistan and again am sure about his wizdom to take this country to new heights of prosperous.
