LAHORE, (Asia Pulse) - Pakistan and Bosnia & Herzegovina are finalizing details for a free trade agreement said Ambassador designate to Bosnia Herzegovina, Jauhar Saleem.
Speaking at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry on January 5, 2008, he felt Pakistani businessmen could avail opportunities in Bosnia, located in heart of Europe.
He asked Pakistani businessmen to visit Bosnia for talks with their counterparts to initiate joint ventures. Bosnia has great potential to produce goods made from wood for foreign markets, while opportunities also exist in the metal, steel and aluminium sectors.
LCCI president Mohammad Ali Mian said existing trade ties between two countries leave much to be desired. He called for engagement of diplomatic missions within the business communities of both countries, the exchange of trade teams and single country exhibitions to enhance trade.
