Hunger Strike in Islamabad for CJP Iftikhar Chaudhry’s Children

The hunger strike by two leaders of Awami Jamhoori Ittehad in Islamabad has now entered the third day. Iqbal Bali and Jahangir Akhter have been on hunger strike to protest the illegal incarceration of the children of Chief Justice Iftikhar. They are sitting in a camp in front of the Marriott Hotel, Islamabad, near the Judges colony, and have vowed to end their strike only at the hands of Justice Iftikhar’s youngest son, Balach.

Today, they marched with other protesters to the police barrier at the entrance to the judges colony, and unsuccessfully tried to cut the heavy roll of barbed wires. Even a jeep could not pull the wires away. The protesters remained at the barrier for over an hour, raising slogans. Yesterday, Justice retired Tariq Mahmood visited the camp, stayed with the protesters for quite some time, and addressed the gathering.

Both the hunger strikers are old in age. Iqbal Bali is seventy six, and Jahangir Akhter 65. Jahangir suffers from sugar and kidney problems, while Iqbal is a heart patient. But both of them are determined to continue with the strike, although the strike has started to have a visible toll on their health. Others will join them in the strike, some for a symbolic 24 hour hunger strike, others for a 48 hour strike, while these two have vowed to continue until death or release of Iftikhar Choudhry’s children, whichever comes sooner.

IBLEES residing inside GHQ does not believe in ethics,morality and rule of law. His maters on the other hand are adamant to destroy Pakistan using him against his own people. Musharraf,the off spring of IBLEES has shown no mercy to the family of Chief Justice of Pakistan. He,though installed Mir Jaffer Dogar and Mir Sadiq Abbasi,but both residing nearer the Chief Justice house could never dare to ask the illegal confinement of his colleague. How cold blooded IBLEES Musharraf is;pathatic.
Hunger strikes and peaceful protests have not yet soften the stand of the residents of GHQ nor have shown any willingness to release the great Chief Justice of Pakistan. Its a shame for the whole nation and the country at large.
Shadad,Pharao,YAZID,Auragzeb and IBLEES Zia ruled for years,but vanished once and for all. Their name in history is filled with blood,hypicricy,treachry and plots. They committed crimes against humanity. They killed thousands of people,but went empty handed. IBLEES Musharraf too is making the same history using every mean to stay in power. He too will be remeber as IBLEE,YAZID,AURANZEB and 20th century IBLEES and Satan ZIA.
How long he would detain the Chief Justice? how long he is going to insult the nation? and how long he is going to rely on Sharifuddin Pirzada,Malik Qayyum,Abdul Hameed Dogar and Abbasis. These people will be remembered villian,usuerpers and cheaters in histroy. Musharraf has already written name name in the black pages of history.
He would be remembered assassin,usuerper,Qatil,merciless dictator,murderer,butcher,Zionist agent,US puppet and the enemy of Jusitce and Pakistan. He has proved himself a true successor of IBLEES Zia.
