Ali Ahmed Kurd released after 4 month detention

Lawyers leader Ali Ahmed Kurd was released from house arrest Tuesday after remaining under detention for 4 months.

“Today is a bid day for the lawyers and journalists communities,” said Ali Ahmed Kurd while talking to media after he was set free from 4-month detention.

Garlanded by the lawyers and civil society members after release, Kurd said: “Lawyers community will continue its struggle and the day is not too far when the people will have the right to live with honour and respect in this country.”
