ISELIN — The New Jersey chapter of the Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America will hold its spring meeting and senior day dinner on Sunday at the Woodbridge Hilton.
Dr. Shahida Abbas, chairman of the organization’s women’s forum, said the event is aimed at teaching young people “how to respect their grandparents and their values in life.”
About 300 members of the group are expected to take part in the event, which is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is $35.
Children of physicians will be doing skits organized by the Women’s Forum to help educate young children on values and tolerance.
She said the event will also feature music, DJs and a fashion show, as well as programs on the history and culture of Pakistan.
