JAGMOHAN SINGH
AMRITSAR: The Pakistan’s most renowned human rights activist and United Nations Human Rights Council Advisory Committee Ansar Burney Wednesday lashed at the visa policy of India and Pakistan.

Talking to the media Burney said, “I have applied visa for the whole India but Indian High Commission has restricted my movements while granting me visa for only three cites. I consider the whole of India is my own country and I love to roam all over”.

“The restricted visa granted by the Pakistan based Indian High Commission, dashed all my hopes to ground, since I have come to India along with my wife, son and close family friend with the wish to visit at Agra to see the beauty of Taj Mahal. I have a wish to write my name with my wife at the land of Agra. Since I have a love marriage with my wife and I wish that my son could also write the name of his fiancé at the land of Agra but here it seems that to visit Agra a distant dream”, said Burney in very sad mood.

Burney said that it is sorry state of affair that India and Pakistan still adhering the strict visa policy, whereas the entire Europe has become one. There is no visa’s requirement to move from place to another with in the Europe. Burlin wall is no more but South Asian countries still lacking behind.

“It is very difficult for the common masses of India and Pakistan to get visa for each other’s country. Here, I feel that Indo –Pak border should be visa free regime to enhance better relation from people to people level”, Burney said.

Both the nations are burning huge amount on war industry. If they love and live in peaceful manner the entire money would be enough to feed the hungry and for greater economical development of both the nations, Burney quipped.

During my four day stay in India I would try my best to meet the Indian Prime Minister and Home Minister at Delhi to hold talk about the Pakistani prisoners languishing in Indian jails, said Burney.

Burney said that it is very tough to see the tears of families, whose kin were rotting the jails of others nations. “I will apply die hard efforts to get released all such prisoners of each others nations except terrorists”, he said.

A visa free regime is a far away cry for the people of this sub-continent …..its because of policies like these ones that the people are not consulted with …whenever the need rises .

The politicians are createing the rift between the two people on purpose …Both the proplr want to have a visa free policy in both countries but as it dont suite the political aganda of the politicians on both side of the devide ,they will never let that happen …are you not fed-up with these type of restrictions….????

    Dear Farhan and Shirull,

Now I can tell you both satisfied that I am in Mumbai working in the company. The Indian Embassy has granted me the visa because of my consistentcy and I had requested my University to contact the embassy, the last one worked immediately.

So Farhan the advice for you is to request your director of the Uni to contact the embassy, it may result in some better news.

As far as your comment concerns Shirull your right, politicians on both side wont make a free visa policy ever possible but if you will fight for it you will achieve your goal. However there are some good articles to read about that Pakistan and India are trying to work out something on the visa policy but that could be fake.

Yep, a Visa free regime so Pakistan can send more suicide bombers into India and bomb the country to stone age! HAHA!!

We don’t want to come there and we don’t want you here. Just leave us alone and peace will prevail!

    Dear typical nationalist/racist Venkat,

I am sure that there are enough Indian suicide bombers already living between the 1.3 billion habitants, so it wont be necessary ( if Pakistan had been a suicide bomber provider) for Pakistan to send any.
Besides that it wont harm the overpopulated India to get ridd of some! HAHA!!
