In Paksitan, two accounts of the events run parallel to each other: One the eye-witness accoutns and facts surrounding an incident, and the other, the official version of the events.
In the recent attack on police in Islamabad, eye-witnesses, most of whom were victims of the attack, are saying something was thrown from a vehicle at the police. Whereas the regime insists it was a suicide bomber.
The English press in particular gives preference to the official account. For example in the above story in mentions the official version which is in total contrast to the facts reported in the last para from the eye-witness accounts.
