It is more of a general information than knowledge that these leaders are very lame at their words. That is the reason they play games with telling public the truth. What they do is that they first announce that the increment in oil price would be 0f 20 from next Monday. Some people get frustrated, some rebels and some might resist, all in all nobody prepare him or herself against the upcoming hazard. Now this is where the psychology of politics comes in…when the officials frightened by the public response play their card to shut the public up. They increase theprice but not by 20 but a lesser amount to that so that public would have no choice other than to accept it. In this way, the officials get what they want, an increase in the price without any chaos and on the other hand public is also satisfied because the increased amount is not as bad as the previous one.
